Flint Lead Free

One of the goals of the Flint Registry is to screen enrollees for ongoing environmental lead exposure and connect them to resources to limit potential exposure. A workgroup of the Flint Registry, Flint Lead Free, seeks to identify lead-related programming and training, determine target audiences for training, and create a lead elimination report.

Flint Lead Free now includes over 30 members from a variety of public, governmental, and private organizations. Flint Lead Free works to facilitate measurable change in our community that will result in reduced lead exposure for our residents – and ultimately become the first city in the nation to eliminate childhood lead exposure.
